The Madison County Fair Association began in 1980 with a group of concerned citizens who wanted to give the youth of our community the opportunity to experience agriculture hands-on.  The first fair was a one-day event held in a borrowed facility.  Since then, the Madison County Fair has progressed into a week-long event held at our own fair grounds, including ten livestock divisions, an art division, a family & consumer science show, and a CPRA rodeo.  The success of the Madison County Fair Association is a tribute to the generosity and character of our community.  Thanks for your continuing support!

ANNOUNCEMENT!  (as of 3/29/08)

There will be a very important meeting of all fair committee members on April 14 at the Madisonville High School Ag Sciences building.  Anyone hoping to serve on a committee or offer input for next year's fair is encouraged to attend.
